English Class

I walked into my classroom, bland yellow paint decorated the walls. I sat my lap top bag on my desk and sat in my seat, preparing for class.

I shuffled into class, my head down. English was one of my least favorite subjects. My English teachers and I...we never got along. It was the only subject I really talked in, at that was to answer the teachers back.

I stepped into class, preppy. I saw Jasmyn and I sat in the desk next to her. "Hey Jasmyn.." I said to the girl with the blue highlights.

I rubbed my left temple, letting out a sigh, "Hey."

I rummaged through my stuff and then looked up, "Hey, Desiree? Do you have I pen I can borrow?"

I skipped into English class and headed for the back. English was my strongest subject, yet i was too shy to answer any questions. I waved at Jasmyn and Desiree and over heard Jasmyn asking for a pen. I always came prepared so i gave her a choice to pick between red,black,blue and green. Green was my favorite color.

I shrugged as Rose offered me a variety of pens, "Any works, but I'll take black, I guess. Thanks."

I nodded and handed her the black one. I put the rest away, keeping the green one out. I headed to the far corner on the left and sat in the seat.

I looked foward to where the computer's monitor stood. I grabbed the mouse and clicked internet explorer. Youtube was probably the only thing I went on, of course with my headphones on. I also had another tab open for where I would keep the lesson for English in.

I walked into English class and took a seat. I looked at the girl next to me. Red head, smiley, sparkly eyes. "Hey." I turned to her.

I saw a brown haired boy sit next to Rose. I smiled and had a feeling he was intrested in her.

I was staring at my computer when a cute guy sat beside me . My head shot up . "Hey.!" I said a little too happy.

I smiled, "So, um...yeah...I'm..uh...wait, who am- oh! I'm James."

I tittered and turned my head back and continued surfing the web.

I giggled . The brown haired boy is super cute AND super funny. We're going to be great friends. "I'm.. Roslyn.. But I prefer Rose" considering my and my principal had the same name.

I nodded, "Nice to meet you, Rose." I looked to my left then my right before whispering, "So...um...I didn't really pay attention to the schedule. What class is this?"

I smiled. "This is English..all sophomores are to report to this class first since we really haven't found a History teacher. or anything. Mr. Camren is the teacher... he's late" i frowned.

I nodded and folded my arms over my chest, "I knew that." I hesitated a bit, "I was just...um...testing you."

I laughed. "I like tests.." I looked into his eyes. woah "Your eyes are gorgeous" i managed to slip out. i sighed. I didn't mean to say that out loud.

II waved my arms around after I lost checkers FOR THE 50th TIME. "I think I'm done trying to win this game. All that happens is I rage out." I exited out the game and opened the browser back up.

I looked down for a minute. Play it cool, James, play it cool. "Excuse me, but you just took my word to explain you. There's a price to pay for that, you know."

I blushed and smiled. I saw Desiree doing something weird with her hands..She looked funny.
"I'm sorry..." i looked up at him and smiled.

I shook my head, "I can't accept the apology till you pay the price." I quickly turned around and high-fived one of Desiree's hands, which were in the air, then turned back toward Rose with a cheeky grin.

My face was seriously poker facing right now. "Okaaay.. That was really random, James." I scoffed as I turned around.

I laughed. He was extremely funny. "How am i going to do that..?" i asked as i looked at my computer that had been beeping. Mr. Camren sent an email, most likely to everybody. I opened it. "Mr. Camren won't be coming in today, due to an illness. We have to write an essay about ourselves for homework" i said to whole class
