History:: Before Joy signed up for DBA, she used to live with her mom, Margette Avila, in her hometown San Deigo. When Joy was younger, her father died in a car accident. At four years old her mother re-married a man named Juan Lopez and later on, they had five children together. Joy was actually very pleased. She is close to her new half siblings and isn't quite jealous of them.
