Confuscius

I thanked the woman for our meal in Chinese, but threw the wrapper for the straw for my coke at her back when she turned around to walk away.

"Wow... that was......." i trailed off and looked at the plate in front of me. I took a bite of something and kept eating.

I laughed and propped my head off on one elbow, "That was what?"

I shrugged "Nothing.. hey. What am i eating." I changed the subject

I shrugged, "I don't even know." Wait, what was that I tasted. Ew, gross. It tasted horrible. I felt a weird feeling in my throat. It tingled and began to hurt. The taste had completely overwhelmed my tongue. "What id in dis?" I asked, my tongue out of my mouth.

I picked it up and sniffed it... "its cinnamon.." i looked up,my eyes wide. "Wait. You're allergic to cinnamon..arent you.?"

I faceplamed myself and nodded.

I gasped and frowned. I hopped up "what to do.??!" I was panicking

I waved my hands around. I didn't have that severe of an allergy, as long as the cinnamon was drowned out quickly with another substance - liquid. "Waderrrr!"

I ran to the kitchen and past the people who were yelling at me in chinese and fixed a cup of water for James and brought it back in less than a minute. I handed it to him

I quickly gulped down the water and sighed. I had to wait a bit before the reaction had gone. I looked at Rose, "Damn." I said, "You can get a cup of water pretty fast."

I stared at James with my eyes wide and crazed. He had almost given me a heart attack..My eyes started to tear up and i launched forward and hugged James tight. I didnt cry because I had to stay strong so i shut my eyes tight so no tears would fall.

I laughed and rubbed Rose's back, "It was just an allergic reaction. I'm fine Hummingbird. I'm okay." I said softly.

I frowned and looked up at him..

I smiled, "Don't worry. It's not that big. I'm okay, promise." I said, putting a hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

"Okay,well i think its time to go.." i grabbed my phone out of my back pocket and looked at the time.

I nodded and looked at my wrist, "Yeah...wait, I don't even have a watch on." I pulled my sleeve back over my wrist and put my hand down.

I smiled and stood up slowly.

I grabbed her hand, "Wait! Rose, I need your phone number."

I nodded "okaaayy.. where is your phone.?" I asked as i held out my hand.

I looked around, "Wait....where is-" I felt around it my pocket, "Ah, there it is!" I pulled out my phone and handed it to Rose.

I put my number in his phone and handed it back to him "all done." I grinned

I nodded, "Cool. I'll see you later, Rose."

"Kay,bye,James." I walked back to my dorm.

I sighed as she walked off. I shouted in Chinese to the waitress for the check.
