What a Mess

I came into the library of this school, and immediately looked over to the ridiculously over-worked looking librarian. She kind of looked haggish. "What a mess..." I mutter to myself, as I turned around and begun heading for a bookshelf to pretend I was looking for something. Not knowing anyone doesn't mean I have to stand around isolated.

I was in the library, putting the books where they belonged. I was also hoping to find the book, Pride and Prejudice.

I tilted me head when I noticed a book that I recognized. It was actually a graphic novel. It had all this cursing and stuff in it. Plus it had all these body parts in there. You knowwwww.

I opened the book and instantly begun to laugh when I saw that diagram of a penis.

I heard a girl laughing and looked behind me. It was a blonde haired, blue eyed, teenage girl. "Hi." I greeted the girl. I've never noticed her around school, but that was probably I'm not super social. She was reading a book, and laughing.

I closed the book as I heard a girl greet me. My smile dropped and I awkwardly eyed her. Not weirdly, just normally. "Um...hello." I responded blandly.

I headed to the library and I was acting like an airplane. I was running around with my arms out and making air plane noises. I stopped at a blonde girl who kind of looked like Desiree from the back. I tapped her. "Hey! have you seen my Desiree?" i asked in a silly tone.

I raises an eyebrow, as I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I stuck the book back in its place. "Is that some new deodorant?" I asked, my heavy Australian accent pushing through at the same time.

i laughed "What? No. shes this tall, blonde hair, gorgeous brown eyes,a smile that could brighten up your day...."

I caught a glimpse of blonde hair behind a book cart. I grinned. "Nah, I found her. I'm Jeremy by the way!" I held my hand out.

OOC : I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say he was bout to shake her hand or something? lol

I tilted my head and glared at his hand. I susupiciously, slowly shook his hand. "Serena." I say, my head slowly rising to meet his. "Wait...what color are you eyes? I cant tell in this lighting." I noticed I still had a tight grip on his hand, and pulled back quickly. "Sorry."

I snapped back into reality as I heard a voice come from the entrance. It was the chick. "Jesus, tell me she's not talking to you." She just looked hilariously foolish.

"Its nice to meet you.. oh.! And my eyes are brown.." i smiled and glanced at Desiree. I ran after her quickly.

"Well have a nice run, champ." I muttered, rolling my eyes and going back to the shelf where my book was.

I walked over to the blonde girl on the other side of the room. Jeremy. Desiree. And the third wheel. "He has a huge crush on her, just so you know." I informed the girl.

I nodded. "Makes mountains of sense now." I told the new guy over here. "They seem painfully perfectly awkward for eachother." I stated. I hadn't even looked at the guy yet, but when I turned away from my "special" shelf I was stunned, in the good way. "Wow. You have a lot of hair." I told him, sounding like one of those chicks from that Australian show, dance acedemy.

I laughed and ran a hand through my curls, "Yeah...I get that a lot." I shrugged, "So, you come here often?" I slapped my head. It was the freaking library. "I mean...ugh...I..you...." I sighed and held my hand out, "I'm James."

I gave a confused smirk as he blubbered on and on. Don't quote me on this, but it was kind of cute. On him at least. James. "Serena." I replied. When he stuck his hand out, I rolled my eyes. "Does everyone in America shake hands too?" She asked the world, as she slowly took his hand and shook it. Haha, soft hands.

Her nails were painted. I never understood why girls did that until now. It looked so pretty. I raised an eyebrow, "Yeah. It's kind of an American thing, I guess, besides cursing each other out on the streets and robbing banks." I laughed a bit and smiled. She had gorgeous eyes, "Proud to be an American yet?" Serena. Cute name.

"No offense, but definitely not." I told him. "I mean I've met three people here so far. One stared at me and just said hi before running away, one has a strange thing for chasing girls he likes or something of the sort...and one is kind of nerdy. But in the cute way. Ill leave you to guess where you are in that." I concluded, scratching behind my ear. Ears were pointless except for hearing. All they did was have wax and get infected.

I grabbed her wrist lightly, "Wait. I...uh...why don't you tell me more about yourself? We're going to be stuck in the same school anyway, right?"

I glanced back, smiling as I eyed James. "Right.."
